Monday's Ubisoft E3 presentation continued with the reveal of some exciting new content for Ubisoft's free-to-play fighter, Brawlhalla. The game has seen its share of guest characters, but today's reveal will strike a particular chord with fans of Cartoon Network's Adventure Time series.
The segment opened with a look at Brawlhalla gameplay, but quickly panned out to reveal that Finn the Human and Jake the Dog were playing 1v1. They soon got into a rematch, but with both characters playing as themselves. Indeed, Adventure Time characters are coming to Brawlhalla. Finn, Jake, and Princess Bubblegum will be available as alternates to existing Legends. They'll act as Epic Crossovers, mirroring Jhala, Kor, and Lord Vraxx, respectively, all with six signature attacks and weapons based on the show. They'll debut alongside a new Buddy Mode, which allows players to control two Legends simultaneously.
The Adventure Time characters are available to play right now and will remain free for the duration of a special event that will run through June 25. After the event, they'll be available from the in-game store for 300 Mammoth coins each.
The Adventure Time characters join a brand new stage called the Tree Fort, which is also based on the television series. Brawlhalla is free to play on all available platforms. Find more information on the Ubisoft website.
