Rick and Morty promote Trover Saves the Universe in new video

Rick and Morty are called in to promote Trover Saves the Universe in this hilarious uncensored trailer.

Most of the characters in Squanch Games' Trover Saves the Universe sound like either Rick or Morty, with the exception of characters like Doopy Dooper or a few other ancillary personalities. But that's the fun of it!

That's what Squanch is banking on with its hilarious new trailer for the game, which finds Rick and Morty watching a video of the game and commenting on it. Be forewarned, this clip is uncensored and contains plenty of colorful (and fun) language you probably don't want blaring out of your speakers, so grab a pair of headphones or let it rip if you're somewhere appropriate, watching Rick and Morty chat it up about the game and its downright side-splitting moments of humor.

If you'd prefer, you can watch the censored version here instead, but it's a lot less entertaining. It's more beep than video clip, even though Rick gets away with a lot of exclamations of "Bullshit!" here and there.

Shacknews' Blake Morse reviewed Trover Saves the Universe, and awarded it a 9 out of 10. Here's what he thought about the game:

"Trover Saves the Universe is an ambitious and solid first outing from the team at Squanch Games. There’s a real game here with some actual replayability thanks to hidden power babies, a few branching paths, and the crazy amount of voice acting that went into it. It looks good, it plays good, and it is guaranteed to make you laugh out loud several times during your adventure. At a price point of $29.99, you’re getting quite a deal considering the amount of content being delivered, especially for a VR experience. While Trover has a few flaws, the overall package executes what it sets out to accomplish remarkably well."

Take it from us, folks – if you like humor, you're going to want to give this bad boy a try. Let us know in the comments below if you've tried it yet and if you liked it.
