If you thought being a Tesla owner was great, well we’ve got some news that’s going to make things even better. The hit little bullet-hell platformer, Cuphead, is making its way to Tesla touchscreens in the Model X, Model S, and Model 3.

Back in May, Elon Musk tweeted out about the team working to bring more games on the Unity Engine to Tesla touchscreens. Now, according to Maja Moldenhauer, a member of Studio MDHR, the developer behind Cuphead, the Tesla version of the game is looking crisp and running well. As it stands right now, the Tesla version of Cuphead is set to release sometime later this summer and will only include the Inkwell Isle One portion of the campaign. This is mostly because of the storage capabilities of the Tesla.

This isn’t the first time that we’ve seen games making the jump to the Tesla touchscreen. In fact, Tesla owners can already play games like Asteroids, Lunar Lander, and several other classic Atari games in their vehicle. The Tesla version of Cuphead will only be playable while the vehicle is in park, and only with a USB controller, as Studio MDHR wanted to ensure that the game plays crisp and tight. It appears that they’ve managed to do just that, as they’re continuing to push development forward on the project.

It will definitely be cool to see the action-packed platformer make its way onto Tesla screens, and we’re sure that Tesla owners will find themselves with more than enough ways to make use of that time they have to spend sitting in their parked cars waiting on someone. We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more information on the release date for Cuphead on the Tesla touchscreen.
