Blizzard has been in the process of overhauling its Hearthstone esports program. The Hearthstone Championship Tour has ended and in its place is Hearthstone Grandmasters, which began its season in mid-May and pitted the very best of the best against one another in a weekly circuit. But those looking to break into the Grandmasters circuit and win some prize money along the way will all look to convene in Las Vegas and take part in the Masters Tour in June. Now the average Hearthstone player can help those competitors take home a little more money by picking up the new Hearthstone Masters Bundle.
On Monday, Blizzard unveiled this special Hearthstone Masters Bundle, which includes ten Rise of Shadows card packs, 10 Rastakhan's Rumble card packs, an all-new Stolen Thunder Card Back, and a new Thunder King Shaman Hero. All of this is being offered for a $19.99 asking price. This is a big value for the average Hearthstone player, with $19.99 normally netting just 15 card packs. This is essentially five free card packs, along with the Card Back and the new Shaman Hero. It should be noted that this is the second Shaman Hero that Blizzard has offered over the past six months. King Rastakhan was given to those players who pre-ordered the giant Rastakhan's Rumble pre-order bundle. If you missed out on that, this is another chance to pick up a nice alternate Shaman Hero character.
The Hearthstone Masters Tour prize pool currently sits at $250,000, but proceeds from the Hearthstone Masters Bundle can see that cash prize rise by up to double. Those interested in competing or catching the action live can make the trip to Las Vegas from June 14-16, as the action unfolds from the LINQ Hotel.
