THQ Nordic revealing new Darksiders game at E3 2019

THQ Nordic will be debuting a new entry in its Darksiders franchise a E3 2019 very soon, and it's going to be a vastly different game from the rest in the series.

A listing on the official E3 Coliseum website showed off a full listing of the panels planned for the event, and it looks like on Thursday, June 13, THQ Nordic has a special Darksiders panel planned.

The description via the ESA states that the talk will actually revolve around how the series came to be, and "where it's headed next." Then the description states the panel will go along with a new Darksiders game reveal happening at E3 which will apparently take the games in a "fresh direction."

It's probably good that the series does change directions, especially since the previous outing, Darksiders 3, apparently suffered from some of the samey combat and various issues the previous games did as well.

Larryn Bell reviewed Darksiders 3 at Shacknews, and awarded it an 8 out of 10. Here are her thoughts on the game:

"Darksiders 3 does seem a bit lacking when compared to its series brethren, at least for those who come in with high expectations. Darksiders 3 is recognizably a Darksiders game. However, the game would have benefited from more risk-taking in areas where it chose to play it safe. Nevertheless, Fury’s story is one worth experiencing, especially for long-time fans who are anxious to see how the next chapter of the four horsemen unfurls."

As far as what the game is called or any further details on it, we'll have to wait until E3 2019 in just over a week to see what THQ Nordic has in store.
