Weekend Console Download Deals for May 17: Minecraft 10th anniversary

It's hard to believe that it's been a full decade since Minecraft has delivered world-building fun to an entire generation of fans. Minecraft has been a tremendous influence on the gaming world and remains one of the most popular games out there, with an audience of millions continuing to dazzle with their blocky creations. Now it's time to celebrate Minecraft's 10th anniversary and that means if you have yet to get into the Minecraft craze, now's the time to get in with a special anniversary sale.

Minecraft on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch are all on sale this weekend, so if you want to know what all the fuss has been about for the past decade, give it a look. If you're looking for more to play, PlayStation 4 is offering the Ubisoft catalog, Xbox One has the best games from Japan, and Nintendo is offering up everything from Capcom and Ubisoft, as well as the best from Shovel Knight and SteamWorld.
