Looking for some new games to add to your PlayStation Plus collection? May's selection of free games should get you excited for the start of summer.

Sony announced that the PlayStation Plus games for May will include Overcooked and What Remains of Edith Finch, two very different games for two different audiences, but both great options for those looking for some intriguing new things to play.

What Remains of Edith Finch follows a young woman, presumably the last of her family name, as she recounts her clan's woeful tale of life and death. You experience the lives and deaths of each of her family members through first-person perspectives with intriguing plot threads that draw you in as you play through. Giant Sparrow really knew how to create a sense of palpable atmosphere with the game and as such made it a must-play.

Overcooked is a colorful adventure that pits you against the clock as you work with teammates to serve up delicious meals. It might sound easy enough, but you've got to do it in a crowded kitchen, on a moving truck, and throughout a variety of challenging locations that will not only test your patience but how well you cooperate with others.

One to four players can play the campaign, which encompasses 28 regular levels plus a tutorial and "final boss" encounter. Choose from numerous chefs, compete in nine versus levels suited for two to four players, and learn how to cook all sorts of recipes.

Both games will be up for grabs for you to add to your PlayStation Plus collection of games, and available to download and play.as long as you're a current subscriber.

You'll have to wait until next week until they become available on May 7, but from then on they'll be up for grabs to download throughout the rest of the month. Anyone who hasn't grabbed the April free games can still pick up The Surge and Conan Exiles before they're no longer free starting on May 6.
