How to play as Thanos in Fortnite Endgame

The newest Marvel crossover event is happening right now with Fortnite Endgame, and players can dive in for a chance to play as Thanos. If you’re planning on playing the Limited Time Mode event, then now is a perfect time to drop in and start battling. In this guide we’ll show you everything you need to know to play as Thanos in Fortnite Endgame.

How to play as Thanos in Fortnite Endgame

One of the best things about the Avengers x Fortnite crossover is the Fortnite Endgame Limited Time Mode. In this mode players are placed into two teams, the Heroes and the Chitauri. From here players must gain control of all six of the Infinity Stones in a bid to complete the mode and bring home the victory. Like the first Avengers x Fortnite event held when Infinity War launched, players will have a chance to play as Thanos in Fortnite Endgame.

If you want to play as Thanos in Fortnite Endgame, then you’re going to need to be on the Chitauri team for starters. There’s no way to really pick which side you’re on, so you’re just going to need to play until you end up on this team. As the Chitauri, your goal is to collect all of the Infinity Stones and defeat the Heroes. But, one lucky Chitauri can actually be transformed into Thanos, giving them additional abilities to use on their enemies.

Unfortunately, there isn’t any real way to absolutely guarantee that you’re going to be able to play as Thanos, as the first Chitauri to pick up an Infinity Stone will automatically be transformed into Thanos. This means you’ll want to beeline for the first Infinity Stone as soon as it lands and try to grab it before anyone else can. Since the Infinity Stones land in different places each match, it’s all a matter of chance as you may or may not be anywhere near the stone’s landing place. If Thanos dies, the Chitauri that picked up the second Infinity Stone that the team captured will be transformed into Thanos and so on until the players have all been depleted.
