Challenges for Fortnite's Ruin skin have leaked
Challenges and rewards for Fortnite's Season 8 Discovery Challenge skin, Ruin have leaked.
While the Discovery skin for Fortnite Season 8 was revealed a few weeks ago, players can now get a look at some of the possible challenges making their way into the game thanks to a recent leak. Of course,
Originally spotted by Fortnite Insider, the leak comes from data-miner @FireMonkeyFN on Twitter. According to the information that FireMonkeyFN was able to pull from the game files, players will have six challenges to complete for the Ruin Discovery Challenge skin. Based on the leak, the Ruin challenges include:
- Destroy trees 0/50
- Destroy rocks 0/35
- Destroy cars, trucks, or RVs 0/20
- Deal damage to opponent structures 0/10000
- Outlast opponents 0/1000
- Complete Daily Challenges 0/5
According to the leaks, completing three of these challenges will reward you with the Legendary Dying Light Back Bling. Completing all six of the challenges listed above will reward you with the Dread Pickaxe. Of course, like any leak or rumor, we’d advise taking these with a grain of salt until we see some official response from Epic Games.
Still, though, considering the information is pulled directly from game files, the chances of these leaks paying off are very high. If you haven’t unlocked Ruin just yet, then you can do so by completing 55 of the various Battle Pass challenges that get released each week. As we head into week 8 of the Season 8 Battle Pass, players should be getting close to unlocking this new skin, which means we should see more information about the Ruin challenges dropping soon.
