Shack's Arcade Corner: The Simpsons

Published , by Greg Burke

The Simpson arcade cabinet is one of the finest games ever to steal our quarters, and it is for that reason that we are taking another shot at this game with a brand new Shack's Arcade Corner episode. The game hit arcades in 1991 and was developed and published by Konami. Players could play as one of four classic Simpsons characters. The popular arcade cabinet allowed for four player co-op gameplay and even featured the voice actors from the TV show. This game did appear in some arcades in a much more rare two player cabinet. Players could join forces in pairs to execute special attacks. The Simpsons arcade game remains one of the all-time classic beat-em-ups and had an awesome soundtrack. Please take a look at this video to find out more in our brand new episode.
