On the official Classic Tetris World Championship YouTube channel, a handful of CTWC pros drop rapid-fire suggestions on how best to play Tetris 99. Players such as Jonas Neubauer, Arda Ocal, James Chen, Chris Tang, Julian, Greentea, Adam Cornelius, and Koryan give some tips on building up your collection of badges, when to attack other players, and more. You can also take a look on the channel to see some of the best stacking from Tetris masters.

The original Tetris was released in 1984 and has made regular appearances across gaming generations, but Tetris Effect and Tetris 99 are the catalysts for a major resurgence for the franchise. Tetris 99 specifically catapults the puzzle experience into 99-player battles on the Nintendo Switch where you'll have to use skill, speed, and strategy to be the last player standing. You can target enemies with garbage blocks, defeat enemies to get KO badges that give advantages in attacks, and participate in curated online Tetris 99 tournaments like the Maximus Cup that started today and ends on March 10 at 11:59 PM PT.
