18 competitors are racing against each other in a  six-hour challenge. The official Twitch Rivals challenge will be switching between all of the competitors so you can see how each player is progressing. You can also scribble down some notes on how to overcome Resident Evil 2's challenges in the quickest way possible for speedruns of your own. The Twitch studio crew is also offering insight on the Resident Evil 2 remake challenge, including pointing out how different animations could cost a player precious time if they make certain mistakes when fighting enemies.

Twitch Rivals was previously the home of two Apex Legends challenges that had players attempt to take out as many enemies as possible and accrue a bunch of championships on the way toward winning some money for their three-player squads.

Twitch Rivals is a tournament series exclusive to the Twitch platform that will be home to have over 100 events this season. There are a collection of different games, formats, interactive extensions, and prize pools available. A Twitch studio show analyzes the various challenges while also switching between the many perspectives of participants, giving viewers a constantly engaging and evolving look into competitive gaming. There have been Call of Duty, PUBG, Magic: The Gathering Arena, and Apex Legends competitions so far this season and there's a lot more in store.
