Tim Cook says new Apple products will "blow you away"

Published , by Brittany Vincent

Apple's Tim Cook has "never been more optimistic" about the state of the company and where it's heading for the future. In fact, speaking to investors in a recent call, he said that Apple is currently "rolling the dice" on future releases that just might "blow you away." Bold words.

Cook noted during the Apple meeting that the company's still looking to double revenue from services in 2020 from the $25 billion it made in 2016, with the eventual goal of lowering the price of the $1,200 MacBook Air. On that note, he announced a "long, great roadmap" of fantastic products coming down the line as related to the Apple Watch and AirPods, such as additional features for the Apple Watch, but didn't elaborate on what the AirPods may receive in the future.

Steve Jobs and the Apple TV, one of Apple's previous innovations.

It's unclear at this point what types of products Cook is referring to that are coming down the pipeline, but with Cook and Apple's interest in augmented reality and the AR glasses the team at Apple is working on, it wouldn't be surprising to see something rolling out from the company in the future down that avenue.

It's clear that those invested in Apple are looking for the next "exciting" thing to roll out the door, but the truth is, Apple hasn't given much of an indication what it's going to be next. Fortunately, we do know that the aforementioned exciting new products will mean an opportunity for those who might be wary of investing in the near future. Hopefully next time we hear from Cook, he'll be a lot less tight-lipped about things, especially because we can't wait to see what's coming down the pipeline from Apple, on any old given day. What do you think is next for the mammoth tech giant later on down the line?
