The battle royale genre's newest hype train is still running full steam ahead at breakneck speeds! Respawn Entertainment's Apex Legends has reached another milestone with 50 million players and is gearing up for a month of firsts.

In March, Apex Legends will welcome the game's take on the popular battle pass, introduce new in-game content, and hopefully add a new Legend or two to the roster. There's still no additional information on when Season 1 of Apex Legends goes live or detailed information on what the month will include as far as content. Information should be revealed in the near future, though.

Respawn Entertainment CEO Vince Zampella celebrated the Apex Legends milestone with the video and tweet above, showing off some of the exciting moments the community has created. There's a grandpa triple-take no-scope highlight, some incredible kills using Pathfinder's grappling hook, and a whole lot more. There's even a clip of ToeYouUp, the one-armed vet we reported on previously when he dominated the final firefight to win his squad a victory.

Respawn Entertainment can't rest on its laurels with this exceptionally strong start. This month marks the beginning of Apex Legends Season 1, which will feature the debut of the battle pass and some other additional in-game content. This is where the community will get a real look at what Apex Legends' continued support will look like as they continue to accrue championship after championship. We don't have much more info about what to expect in the far-flung future of the game, but we at least know that Zampella hopes to add Chappie to the Apex Legends roster sometime in the future.
