Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom is a long enough game as it is, and now it's going to get even longer.

There's a new DLC episode on its way out for Ni no Kuni 2, and it's called The Tale of a Timeless Tome. The new episode features a host of new characters, missions, and battles to take part of as you continue to build up your kingdom. And let's be honest, as you continue to finish your game, because you probably haven't just yet.

The adventure kicks off with the appearance of a strange rabbit in various folks' dreams. They're all staying at the Goldpaw Inn, reporting that the rabbit in a top had and tuxedo has visited them all for one reason or another. Protagonist Evan and his party decide to stay at the hotel to see what's going on, and unravel the mystery once and for all.

The rabbit is actually the Conductor, which Bandai Namco has indicated will be familiar to those who played the original game, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. However, the Conductor's role won't be clear until you get to play the game for yourself. There are an abundance of secrets waiting to be found, though, like a new figure we see seated by a tombstone.

This could be a character named Nella, as the official PlayStation Blog indicates in the DLC announcement. Evan and his party will also meet up with Queen Nerea as well as her companion Leander, but it remains to be seen if the two will be joined in holy matrimony.

Aside from new characters and storylines, the Tale of a Timeless Tome DLC will include new combat methods as well as a new location for battle: the Solosseum Slog. You'll contend with several monsters here to take home various items as rewards, which will absolutely be worth your time.

The Tale of a Timeless Tome is due out on PlayStation 4 and PC on March 19.
