While Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition doesn't appear to have a season pass lined up for 2019, Capcom isn't stopping the DLC train entirely. In addition to a new fighter making his debut after December's Capcom Cup, the publisher has announced the latest DLC bundle to help boost the 2019 Capcom Pro Tour.
The Capcom Pro Tour 2019 DLC will include an all-new stage called the Ring of Justice. Eagle-eyed Street Fighter fans have noticed the resemblance to a past Street Fighter IV stage called the Skyscraper Under Construction. The SF4 stage was set in Metro City and viewers will notice that the ring lays adjacent from the Skyscraper construction site. The spectators surrounding the stage include various cameos from the Final Fight series. Viewers might notice former mayor Mike Haggar and various Mad Gear Gang members, like Sodom, Rolento, and the Andore family. As is tradition, the Capcom Pro Tour DLC stage is the setting for Capcom Cup and EVO, so if you opt not to buy it, expect to see it a lot in the esports circuit.
The DLC will also include new outfits for Kage and Sagat, with a third outfit designed by Capcom Cup champion Kanamori "Gachikun" Tsunehori set to debut later. Players will also unlock new colors for the entire SFV cast, along with 10,000 Fight Money.
Those looking for a different kind of outfit for their fighters can also check out a pair of Mega Man-themed costumes for Ryu and Sakura. Ryu's outfit dresses him as the iconic Blue Bomber, while Sakura's outfit decks her out as Roll Caskett from the long-dormant Mega Man Legends series. Players can also pick up an Alex outfit that decks him out as Leo from Red Earth, which is about as deep a cut as it gets from Capcom. Lastly, Zangief gets a luchadore mask that turns him into The Gief.
All of these DLC packs are available today. The CPT 2019 DLC is going for $19.99, with portions of the proceeds going towards the Capcom Pro Tour prize pool. The other individual outfits are available for $3.99 a piece.
