Solary and Scott's Tots, you are Apex Legends champions!

On two dates, a bunch of teams battled it out for their piece of a $100,000 prize pool as part of Apex Legends Challenge in the Twitch Rivals series. All participating teams had opportunities to score points via kills and full victories during a two-hour period. One was on February 12 and the second was today, February 19. Solary and Scott's Tots, the teams that earned the most points in Europe and North America, will take home $50,000 each.

After the first Apex Legends Challenge session, Kings Canyon and Team MANE topped the standings in North America and Europe respectively. Apex Legends is the newly released battle royale from Respawn Entertainment that has caught on like fire in the gaming community. It has a plethora of polished elements, but isn't set up for custom games yet. Therefore, the format in this esports competition had players battling it out in consecutive matches where they queued up for battle like normal.

There are chances that teams ran into each other, but with Apex Legends achieving over 25 million players in less than a week, the chances of them clashing directly were slim. Hopefully a future Apex Legends update will set the stage for direct battle royale conflict between competing teams.
