Retro FPS Dusk is out on Mac and Linux

There's been a resurgence of retro-style shooters and New Blood Interactive's Dusk is one of the titles that stands near the top of the pile of bodies. In an effort to get the game out for all of those craving some gameplay inspired by legendary PC shooters from the 90s, Dusk is now available on Mac, Linux, and 32bit operating systems.

Dusk is a retro FPS where players face off against mystical backwater cultists and a plethora of other enemies. On the game's Steam page, the developers share that the game is explicitly inspired by "Doom, Quake, Blood, Heretic, Hexen, Half-Life, Redneck Rampage, and all your 90s favorites." Dusk features three campaign episodes where players utilize a large arsenal to take down creatures as they search for what lurks beneath the Earth. That arsenal includes sickles, crossbows, rifles, grenade launches, bars of soap, and more.

There's also the Endless Survival Mode, for those that want to test their mettle against waves of enemies with the dark, high-energy soundtrack pumping in the background. Lastly, DuskWorld is the game's arena multiplayer mode for those craving classic PvP action.

In addition to the expansion to more operating systems, the development team has released the entire game's soundtrack on YouTube and added four new achievements for Dusk players:

- Kill an enemy by spinning your weapons
Intoxigated
- Kill Intoxigator while intoxicated
Telefragged
- Telefrag the Guardian
Somebody's Poisoned the Waterhole!
Neutralize Chomper
