Apex Legends is the latest title from Respawn Entertainment, the studio responsible for creating the iconic mech-based shooter, Titanfall and Titanfall 2. Set within the Titanfall universe, Apex Legends brings the hero shooter and battle royale experience together in a violent clash. If you’re just diving into the game for the first time, then there are quite a few controls and keybindings you’ll want to get the hang of quickly.

Apex Legends Controls and Keybindings

Whether you’re playing Apex Legends on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 or PC, knowing the controls is going to be key to staying on top and helping your squad come out victorious. Like most first-person shooters, Apex Legends follows a standard WASD control setup for your basic movement. From here, the game branches out, giving you typical battle royale options like inventory, map, and fire mode toggles. You can see the full control scheme in the GIF below, so take a look at it to see all the available keybinds.

We’ve also included a screenshot of the Xbox Controller setup. As you can see, the controls are very similar to those you would see in your typical first-person shooter.

At the time of this writing, I’m still waiting for the PlayStation 4 version of the game to finish installing, but I’ll update the guide shortly with additional control details for the PS4.
