Ronda Rousey is Sonya Blade in Mortal Kombat 11

Rowdy wrestler Ronda Rousey revealed as the voice actor of rough and tough MK legend Sonya Blade in the latest entry to the series.

It would appear that Ronda Rousey is expanding her portfolio. Not only is she the current WWE Raw women’s champ, and a prolific MMA fighter, she’s also now the voice of Sonya Blade in the next installment in the MK series. Ronda will be taking over VO duties for the world’s most badass cop starting with Mortal Kombat 11.

Ronda is known not only known for being a hardcore brawler herself, but also for being a bit of a pop culture geek who grew up on things like Dragon Ball Z and MK, so this seems like an appropriate match up.

In the video below, Ronda goes into detail about her experience playing Sonya Blade. Apparently, she’s not a fan of having to dress up for roles, so she was rather excited to get a chance to do some acting in comfortable attire.

Ronda Rousey and Sonya Blade seem like a match made in heaven, or hell, depending on how you look at it. Either way you toss it, we'll get to see more of Ronda as Sonya very soon as Mortal Kombat 11 is set for an April 23 release on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

She so good at pretending to be badass these days. I kinda miss the days she actually was.

in retrospect she was horribly one-dimensional, but at the time watching her judo throw chicks who had no idea wtf was really exciting.

glad WMMA moved on, shame she couldn't adapt but that's how these things go.

if she had a good coach and good people surrounding her, she'd probably still be the champ. basically had the mma equivalent of donald trump coaching her so her success is kinda amazing in retrospect

Is her Fatality going to be tweeting out a Sandy Hook conspiracy theory video and then deleting it?
