Shacknews visited the HyperX suite at CES to learn about their latest technology. In the video below, you’ll see in-depth descriptions of some brand new hardware. Particularly the Quadcast, HyperX’s first usb mic. Specially designed for online content creators, we learn the ins and outs of this nifty device. As for memory, HyperX talked with us about their 5 GHz DDR4 and how it pushes the envelope for high end memory devices. “We were known from the beginning as a high end extreme memory company.” Although there is no release date set in stone, this new RAM could go on sale as early as this year.
They also show off their newest mouse, the Pulsefire Raid and discuss how it sets itself apart from the competition. This mouse has more programmable buttons than any other mouse HyperX has put out before, giving players as much customization options as possible. The Puselfire Raid will be available in the second quarter of this year for $59.99.
The Cloud Orbit S is HyperX’s newest gaming headset, which they worked closely with Audeze to create. One of the product’s most significant attributes is its headtracking feature. When in use, headtracking will center a room of sound around you. “As you turn your head, the sound continues to move around in the room as if you were listening to speakers.” The Cloud Orbit S will cost $329.99 when it becomes available in Q2 of this year. Alternatively, the Cloud Orbit, which doesn’t come with headtracking, will cost $299.99. HyperX also revealed to us that the infrared technology that they use to synchronize their RGB DDR4 memory product. The product has also been expanded to include 16GB of memory.
