CES 2019 is pulling out all the stops, even going so far as to give attendees a look at the latest developments from Apple. Among other announcements, Apple detailed the recent release of AirPlay 2, the company's latest standard for wireless streaming. One of the biggest draws to AirPlay is the ability for iPhone, iPad, or Mac users to stream their music, videos, and photos to an Apple TV set-top boxor HomePod speaker, but AirPlay 2 extends that functionality to all AirPlay 2 compatible home televisions. To make the most out of the tech, users will need to brush up on just which new and recently released televisions support Apple AirPlay 2.

List of Apple AirPlay 2 compatible TVs

Here's the list of all modern television sets compatible with Apple AirPlay 2. It's worth mentioning that some of the sets are just a few years old, with the oldest compatible TVs being produced around 2017. Some of the other listed televisions have either just gone on sale or are soon to go on sale, and perhaps unsurprisingly, AirPlay 2 support seems restricted mainly to the biggest name brands.

Here's the list of AirPlay 2 compatible TVs as listed on the official Apple website. To keep things clear, we've indicated the year of manufacture where possible — just remember that AirPlay 2 support has only been announced, and actual functionality is still pending. We'll update this list with any new TV models with AirPlay 2 compatibility as we discover them.

For any one that may be curious, AirPlay 2 itself is compatible with most modern iPhones and iPads, ranging from the newest models all the way back to the iPhone 5S as well as the first-generation iPad Pro.
