God of War, RDR2 lead Game Developers Choice Awards Finalists

The 19th Annual Game Developers Choice Awards is set to take place on March 20 in San Francisco during the 2019 Game Developers Conference (GDC). As the leading peer-based video game event celebrating the industry’s top games and developers, the Game Developers Choice Awards are akin to video game Oscars. This year, Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption 2 leads all contenders with seven total nominations, trailed by Sony’s God of War and Marvel’s Spider-Man, which both secured six total nominations.

The Game Developers Choice Awards will be hosted once again by Tim Schafer, LucasArts industry veteran and founder of Double Fine Productions. The ceremony is open to all GDC 2019 pass-holders and will be stream live to the public on Twitch.
