The video game industry's biggest celebration is nearly upon us and there are going to be more ways to watch than ever. The Game Awards 2018 will broadcast on YouTube (in 4K UHD resolution), Twitter, Facebook, Mixer, Steam TV, PlayStation 4, Xbox Live, IGN, GameSpot, Polygon, MLG, Caffeine.tv, and more (additional platforms will be revealed in the near future). The event will also expand into China, as well.
“Video games are a common passion around the world, and in 2018, The Game Awards is expanding its distribution to celebrate the power of games in more places than ever before,” said Geoff Keighley, creator/executive producer of The Game Awards, the press release for the announcement. “We’re also giving gamers even more choice in how they select winners across the web, social media, Alexa Voice, Google Assistant, and for the first time ever, via a Discord server.”
Nominees for The Game Awards 2018 will be revealed on Tuesday, November 13 at 12:00 PM ET. Below, you'll find the full list of international broadcasts and locations for The Game Awards. These broadcasts will be live and feature translation on the respective platforms:

The Discord news was revealed this week as well, giving a huge stage to a quickly growing social gaming platform. In addition, fans will be able to vote for specific categories directly through Facebook Messenger, Twitter direct messages, Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant.
The 2017 Game Awards reached over 18 million viewers and was hailed by The New York Times as "The Oscars of the gaming worlds." With the expansion into new regions and access via a significantly larger amount of platforms, this edition of the event should set records.
