Hearthstone is gearing up for its next big expansion, but is stopping to celebrate a major milestone. There's a big userbase awaiting what's next for the game and on Monday, Blizzard announced that this userbase has reached 100 million players.

After acheiving such a major accomplishment, the Hearthstone team is in the mood to celebrate with its massive community. That's why anyone who logs into the game from Novemeber 7 at 10AM PT through November 10 can pick up six free Boomsday Project card packs. That's a slightly-less-than $10 value for no extra charge. Players will also receive the Celebrate the Players quest, which rewards 100 gold for challenging a friend. This is repeatable up to five times, allowing players to scoop up 500 gold.

On a separate note, Patch 12.4 is out today and that's the one that introduces all-new Classic cards to the existing set, helping replace the cards that rotated out to the Hall of Fame.

Meanwhile, Hearthstone marches on towards Rastakhan's Rumble, the game's final expansion in the Year of the Raven. Look for Shacknews to begin its card analyses soon, but in the meantime, be sure to check out our recent interview from BlizzCon.
