This year's BlizzCon 2018 is closing in fast, with Blizzard's exposition slated to kick off with opening ceremonies and a keynote presentation around mid-day tomorrow. We're expecting a lot of big reveals from this year's convention, and players who are looking to stay on top of the latest Blizzard games and news would do well to brush up on the dates and times for all of the biggest events, or even pick up a Virtual Ticket to enjoy all the action from home.

Dates and times for BlizzCon 2018 and keynote

This year's formal BlizzCon is slated to kick off in just a matter of hours. Following a number of Opening Week events that began back on October 25, the formal convention itself (including the keynote livestream) is slated to begin at 1 pm Central time (11 am Pacific) on Friday, November 2, and run all the way through Saturday, November 3, with the final events drawing to a close right around midnight.

BlizzCon 2018 Virtual Tickets

This year, Blizzard fans have the option to catch all the excitement of BlizzCon from the comfort of their own homes. Blizzard is offering sales of Virtual Tickets that allow viewers to catch all of the convention's biggest highlights, snag some free in-game gear for their favorite titles, and gain access to the exclusive World of Warcraft Classic Takehome demo.

Each Virtual Ticket grants live access to all stages of BlizzCon 2018, streamable through most major internet browsers, as well as instant on-demand access to the BlizzCon 2017 video archive, plus loads of behind-the-scenes material made available through the original BlizzCon video series. With all of that said, access to the World of Warcraft Classic Demo is likely one of the biggest selling points: otherwise reserved solely for on-site attendees, Virtual Ticket holders will be able to access the demo between Friday, November 2, and Thursday, November 8.

Virtual Tickets to BlizzCon 2018 run for $49.99, and they can be purchased directly through the official BlizzCon 2018 storefront on Battle.net.

There's no doubt that the team at Blizzard will be bringing its A game to BlizzCon 2018, and fans who want to learn more about all the planned events should stop by the full BlizzCon 2018 schedule. To stay on top of the biggest news and highlights otherwise, keep it tuned right here to Shacknews.
