No Man's Sky VR support possible, devs survey players to help shape the game's future

After bouncing back in a big way with multiple free updates, we're on the verge of No Man's Sky's next major phase. Not only is the next step a mystery to players, Sean Murray and Hello Games don't have a complete idea of where to go next either. They do, however, want the game's growing community to help shape the game's future. The survey the Hello Games team has shared not only asks what players currently favor, it teases a handful of gameplay additions that could be developed if enough fans are interested.

The journey to now was turbulent for No Man's Sky, but the free Next expansion enhanced the sandbox space exploration game with a third-person camera, and enhanced multiplayer. The full collection of DLC includes the addition of bases, exocrafts, expanded story missions, manageable fleets, and a whole lot more. So what else can be added to No Man's Sky? One particular segment in the No Man's Sky survey reveals just that. In the section asking what feature a player may want to see most, here are the options:

Going further, the survery asks what types of space station mission types you'd like to see more of and what exactly players would like to use their base for. If you're one of the players currently hundreds of hours into No Man's Sky or even if you're on the fence about playing it, the survey is your chance to speak up. No matter what choice ends up being the favorite, it's exciting to see the developers take this step to build onto their game.

No Man's Sky is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One and the development team is gearing up for a wave of weekly events. Stay tuned to Shacknews for additional updates.
