Hunt: Showdown fans can look forward to a new map debuting at TwitchCon at the end of the month. The upcoming Lawson Delta map, set in post-Civil War Louisiana, will be shown off during TwitchCon at the Hunt: Showdown booth during the event, which is going on October 26 through October 28 in San Jose, California.

There, players can test out the map before it goes live after the event. There's also a new Lawson Delta teaser video to accompany the announcement that shows off exactly what kind of map we're looking at. It's got an old-timey feel to it, but that doesn't stop the horror of the creatures revealed later on in the clip.

Hunt: Showdown is a first-person competitive multiplayer game that takes survival gaming and adds a bigger punch to it. With both PvP and PvE elements, matches take ten players flying solo or split up to fight against each other for bounties. Set in the swamps of Louisiana, it's a hardcore affair with plenty of nasties to fight against, with bounties going out to the bravest players. Sound interesting? The game's up for grabs now on Steam, just in time for Halloween tricks and treats.
