During the Oculus 2018 Keynote, Lucas Arts’ ILMxLAB studio revealed an all-new Star Wars game that is being built exclusively for VR. Vader Immortal will be a three part episodic experience that bring players into the Sith Lord’s inner circle. Vader Immortal will be a launch game for Oculus Quest.
Vader Immortal will take place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope in the Star Wars timeline. The first episode will take place on Mustafar. The project will also be a collaboration between ILM, writer David S. Goyer, and Hellblade: Senua's Sacrific developer Ninja Theory. The game will be built on the Unreal Engine. A short teaser was shown during the Oculus Keynote.
