AMC’s The Walking Dead is an entertainment juggernaut that simply won’t die. For years, it has been one of if not the most popular TV show on cable and has millions of dedicated fans and multiple lucrative spinoff series and video games. The next licensed video game from the popular series comes in the form of OVERKILL’s The Walking Dead. This four-player shooter is being handled by the studio that gave us the Payday series. Ahead of its official release date, the game will offer a closed beta session on PC that starts October 9.
Access to the closed beta will be limited to pre-orders. Players who pre-order the standard edition of the game will receive a single invite to the closed beta. Player who opt for the Deluxe Edition pre-order will receive four invites to the closed beta. Additional information on the beta will be made available to the community soon.
OVERKILL’s The Walking Dead will launch on PC November 6. The PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game are expected to arrive February 6, 2019 in North America and February 8, 2019 in Europe and other territories.
