The Xbox Adaptive Controller finally saw its official launch this week after a spring unveiling and press tour that ran through the summer. The controller is revolutionary in its design and opens up video games to a large number of people who may not have been able to play otherwise. To market such a unique product, you need a unique pitchman, and Microsoft has found their man in comedian and Youtube star Zach Anner.

In this short showcase video for the controller, Anner finally gets to play videogames with his best friend Josh Flanagan. Video games had not been an option for Anner as a result of his cerebral palsy. Thanks to the Adaptive Controller, he has an easier way to control the Xbox and challenges Flanagan to some Killer Instinct. Unfortunately, Josh has more than thirty years of gaming experience compared to Zach’s zero. Hilariously, Zach resorts to some underhanded tomfoolery to even the playing field.

Anner first rose to fame after taking part in a contest run by the Oprah Winfrey Network to find America’s next top TV star. After winning the contest, Anner got his own show on the network, though it was canceled after a few episodes. He currently runs a Youtube channel with over 350K subscribers.
