If you're ready to step on the court and get a taste of EA's basketball simulation, a slice of NBA Live 19 is available right now for PS4 and Xbox One owners. The free demo starts with The Rise, the new career mode for the Live series. The matchup in the demo includes players like Allen Iverson, Joel Embiid, Candace Parker, and James Harden. Players can create their own character as well, which includes women for the first time in the game's history.

Once the creation process is complete, players will travel around to legendary courts or customize a court of their own. The demo also includes Play Now and Practice and all progress and content unlocked during the demo will carry over to the full game.

NBA Live 19 launches on September 7, 2018, and fans can tune in to the official NBA Twitch channel tonight at 7 PM PT for a pre-launch. A new mode will be revealed during the livestream and 3v3 games will take place with the Phoenix Suns' Devin Booker handling hosting duties.
