Weekend PC Download Deals for 8/24: Free Overwatch and For Honor weekends

The Weekend PC Download Deals have returned, spotlighting two free gaming weekends that should not be missed.

After a brief hiatus, the Weekend PC Download Deals have returned. And it's a good time to be back, because there are some big sales and free weekends to look out for.

The first thing to note is that Overwatch is in the middle of a free weekend, to help celebrate this weekend's Overwatch League All-Star Game. Be on the lookout for those two new skins while you're playing. The other game getting a free weekend is For Honor, which is in the middle of its Reigning Inferno event.

In terms of sales, Green Man Gaming will be the place to watch, because they're offering a massive "50 Games for $50" deal, offering 50 top-level games all in a single-bundle. A handful of those include $60 retail games, making this an incredible deal. And the proceeds go to charity, which is all the more reason to support this endeavor.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
