We learned a lot about Doom Eternal during the QuakeCon 2018 keynote.

Today, QuakeCon 2018 leaves the launchpad via the keynote address from Bethesda. The gaming giant teased Doom Eternal, Rage 2, and Elder Scrolls information, but there were a couple significant things that came from Doom Eternal alone. In addition to some new movement mechanics, players will be able to team up with demons and invade the games of other real players.

The team also says they're increasing the scale with idTech7 and "building a Doom Universe". There seems to be more to this and we'll investigate more in the near future. Stay tuned to Shacknews for additional updates.
