No Man's Sky patch 1.54 addresses a few key crash issues on PC

Published , by Sam Chandler

Though it is only small in size, the 1.54 Patch for No Man’s Sky Next seeks to fix four main issues that players have been having, and all of them relate to crashes and memory limitations. Since the release of No Man’s Sky back in August of 2016, the game has received constant updates, improvements, and content packages, and now with Next, that care hasn’t stopped.

Bug fixes:

The team at Hello Games commented on how they are prioritizing fixes based on direct feedback from the community. Players who encounter bugs or other such problems should use the bug report form to assist in improving No Man’s Sky.

We are continuing to focus on safely addressing the highest priority issues reported by the community. As always, thank you for playing the game and taking the time to report any issues you encounter!

We have now released update 1.54 to PC, which includes the fixes detailed below. We’ll be rolling out these fixes to other platforms as soon as possible.

While the patch is only available for download on PC, the console version of this patch – and its important crash fixes – will be coming to both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 soon. This is no doubt good news for players, especially given that the concurrent player count reached an impressive 100,000 in July.
