Four competitors remained in the Shacknews World Championship 2018. This semifinal round would prove to be one of the most exciting moments of our electronic sports tournament as two players secured their place in the Finals. TheBeardedChump, KidColt45, MegaMoose64, and GamerGirlLovesU sat down in front of an old CRT television to square off in a true test of video gaming skill. GoldenEye 007 for N64 is an iconic game, but its controls have not held up well. This round was a perfect wildcard challenge to throw at these four competitors who were on the doorstep of Shacknews immortality and a piece of the $50,000 prize pool. The match was so close that it even ended in a sudden death shootout for second place. Please take a look.
