PUBG PC 1.0 Update #19 Adds Quick Map Markers, Revives Dynamic Weather

The gameplay is taking much needed strides forward.

Update #19 for PUBG 1.0 is going live and includes some significant changes to the popular battle royale experience. The weather has been largely missing from PUBG as the team better optimized the experience, but it returns and does so in a big way. Instead of having a static weather option whenever a map is started, the weather conditions are dynamic. This means that conditions can change over time and players will have to react accordingly. Take a look at the new mechanic below.

Another awesome addition is the ability to place map markers without having to open the map. PUBG often turns into a game that leans heavily on quick responses and, in a duo or squad situation, being able to quickly designate a movement point or an area where enemies are without having to open the map is going to be a game-changer.

Additional changes coming in update #19 can be found on the official PUBG Steam page. There's a lot to digest and a few images included to show things off, so take your time combing through. Stay tuned to Shacknews for additional updates.
