Where to Find the Shrine of the Trader
The Shrine of the Trader is situated just north of Northgard, accessible from the junction known as the Moonstruck Coast. Follow the sand due west and follow the shore through a stone archway, then continue as the beach wraps around further west before turning north. When reaching a dead end on the north side, turn due east and walk straight into the rocks to discover the cave entrance.
Once inside, follow the passage east and then north up the staircase toward the altar. Once there, press A on the Joy-Con to have the party hear the disembodied voice of Bifelgan, the Trader, who will commend their boldness in making the journey to the shrine. As compensation for their efforts, Bifelgan will then unlock the Merchant secondary job class for all heroes, allowing any member of the party to make use of the job's unique skills and remarkably balanced attribute bonuses.
There are still seven other shrines that players must locate in order to have access to all eight core secondary job classes in Octopath Traveler.
