Ichigo and Other Bleach Characters Bring Some Soul To The Jump Force Roster

Jump Force was one of the coolest surprises of E3 2018, bringing together Shonen Jump characters in celebration of the publication's 50-year anniversary. The reveal roster only included characters from One Piece, Naruto, and Dragonball Z, but we can add another major anime to the fray. Fans of the Bleach series will recognize the three newly announced characters, which include two heroes and one villain: Ichigo, Rukia, and Aizen.

In addition to these three characters, a new Hong Kong stage has been added to the game. Jump Force is approaching art design in an unexpected way, eschewing any art leaning toward the anime series for a more realistic visual style. The new Hong Kong map reflects this, but also includes elements from the One Piece series.

Jump Force will be available in the US on Xbox One, PS4, and PC in 2019. Stay tuned to Shacknews for additional roster updates. There are tons of potential additions to pull out of Shonen Jump's 50 years of publication.
