Collect Legendary Pokemon Thundurus and Tornadus at Target Stores Next Month
You know you need more Legendaries in your Pokédex.
Pokemon's Legendary summer is going on now, with a new set of Pokemon that will soon be up for grabs for free. Starting next month in July, you can take home one of two Legendary Pokemon: either Thundurus or Tornadus, depending on your Pokemon Ultra Sun, Pokemon Ultra Moon, Pokemon Sun, or Pokemon Moon game. Yes, more free Pokemon, folks. Get on it!
Depending on which game you choose, you'll get a different Pokemon with special moves and abilities. Here's the breakdown.
Thundurus
Pokémon Ultra Sun
Level: 100
Ability: Prankster
Held Item: Gold Bottle Cap
Moves: Thunderbolt, Focus Blast, Grass Knot, Nasty Plot
Pokémon Sun
Level: 60
Ability: Prankster
Moves: Discharge, Crunch, Charge, Nasty Plot
Tornadus
Pokémon Ultra Moon
Level: 100
Ability: Prankster
Held Item: Gold Bottle Cap
Moves: Hurricane, Heat Wave, Grass Knot, Tailwind
Pokémon Moon
Level: 60
Ability: Prankster
Moves: Air Slash, Crunch, Tailwind, Rain Dance
As you can see, the different versions of the game net you different levels and attacks, so choose carefully, unless you've got a separate copy of all four titles, in which case, you can just go crazy, I guess.
Once you've gone to a participating Target and claimed your code or codes, you've got to make sure you redeem them. To do this, select the Mystery Gift option on the game's main menu. Then choose Receive Gift. Choose the Get with Code/Password option, then press Yes two times. Once you've done so, you'll be able to enter the code from your card. The Pokemon will arrive in your game, but then you need to head out to the delivery person in any Pokemon Center to pick it up. Once you've done so, save your game. Then that's all! You're done!
