It has been quite a year for Tyler "Ninja" Blevins. He's become the most popular Twitch personality by leaps and bounds over the past six months, mostly thanks to his daily Fortnite streams and his recent all-nighter with Drake. Now Ninja is continuing to parlay his celebrity into some new partnerships.

During his Sunday stream, Ninja announced a partnership with Red Bull Esports. As part of this announcement, Ninja revealed that fans could challenge him at a special Fortnite event called Red Bull Rise Till Dawn. Taking place in Chicago on July 21, the event will feature a unique scoring system, along with one hundred duos looking to emerge victorious. No word on who Ninja will team up with, but anyone who eliminates him and his teammate will receive bonus points.

Looking for tickets? That might be a problem. Just minutes after Ninja made his announcement, registration for Red Bull Rise Till Dawn sold out, which speaks to Ninja's clout in the gaming world these days.

Red Bull Rise Till Dawn kicks off on July 21 and can be seen in its entirety from Ninja's Twitch channel.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
