E3 2018: Konami's Benjamin Kinney Talks Zone of the Enders:The 2nd Runner

Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner - Mars is an upcoming remastered version of the PlayStation 2 cult classic mech title, with 4K resolution, VR headset support, "next-gen surround sound," and new sound design.

Shacknews had Konami's Benjamin Kinney at the booth during E3 2018 to discuss the newly-remastered title, as well as what we can expect from the game. Players take on the role of a pilot name Dingo Egre, a miner working on Callisto, who discovers the Orbital Frame named Jehuty. The game plays out with a behind-the-back third-person viewpoint with plenty of close-quarters combat and plenty of robotic enemies to take down.

Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner — Mars is launching later this year on September 4 in the Americas and on September 6 globally for $29.99.
