E3 2018: Bandai Namco's Koji Nakajima Talks Shonen Fighter Jump Force

If you ever wanted to pit Goku against Naruto, this is your chance.

1

Bandai Namco's latest title is Jump Force, which transports players to the world of Shonen Jump, where anime series like Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, and One Piece sprang from. It's an anime-based fighter that lets you pit favorite characters like Goku, Naruto, and Luffy together in knock-down, drag-out brawls with other fighters from other series standing on the sidelines to jump in when ready.

Shacknews spoke to Jump Force producer Koji Nakajima from Bandai Namco about the game, its battles, and some of the ways it will change up the formula of other anime-based fighting titles. It's being hailed as a beginner's fighting game, so we'll have to wait and see how it feels when compaed to titles like Dragon Ball FighterZ and other games of that ilk.

Jump Force will release in 2019 for PC, Xbox One and PS4.
