Shacknews World Championship: Day 1 Live Stream

The gloves are off as a collection of the toughest old people we could find at E3 battle it out for the ultimate electronic sports prize.

This year at our Shacknews E3 2018 booth in West Hall we are holding the inaugural Shacknews World Championship. 128 players will enter for a chance to win a piece of the $50,000 prize pool. Unlike typical esports events, the Shacknews World Championship is restricted to well-worn competitors over the ripe age of 30. Day 1 of the Championship begins at 4 PM ET (1 PM PT) live from E3 on the all new Shack Channel 5.

Day 1 of the Shacknews World Championship begins with the field of 128 competing in one of the most popular fighting games of all time, Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper FIghting. The entrants must kick, dragon punch, and shoryuken their way to victory in order to enter the round of 64, where players will duke it out in SpeedRunners.

The Shacknews World Championship is the opportunity of a lifetime. Don’t miss a second of the action. Do it for Shacknews.
