Tencent will have its first public presence at E3 2018, marking something of a milestone for the company, in a partnership with esports company ESL. The pair will be teaming up to host the Arena of Valor playoffs, in a showing for mobile gaming unlike anything the company has done at an event before.

The Valor Series has been going on for the past two months, and will culminate in determining winners from teams from both North America and Europe, who will be competing in the playoffs in Los Angeles on June 12 and June 13. You can watch it all go down via the official Arena of Valor Twitch channel, as it all happens.

Ramon Hermann, director of esports for Tencent America, stated that the company is committed to "supporting and growing the mobile esports community by leveraging structured esports competition on both a local and large scale."

“The Valor Series playoffs showcase the absolute best in mobile esports, as Arena of Valor offers gamers a fast-paced, competitive multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) experience without compromise, especially if you’re playing on gaming-inspired Razer hardware," said Hermann.

Arena of Valor is a free-to-play MOBA on iOS and Android that released late in 2017, and it's scheduled to hit the Nintendo Switch this summer.
