It's been a busy night for The Pokemon Company. On top of revealing new Pokemon titles for both Nintendo Switch and mobile platforms (including one that's out right now), there's something for fans to check out in one of their current Pokemon games. Last week, Niantic Labs announced the Alolan-form Pokemon would be coming to Pokemon GO, but Tuesday night's announcements have heralded the arrival of one of them en masse.

According to the Pokemon GO website, Alolan Exeggutor have begun roaming around in the wild. Niantic notes that their arrival is to celebrate tonight's announcement of Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee for Nintendo Switch. Not only will these Switch games utilize select mechanics from Pokemon GO, but the games will also interact with Pokemon GO, allowing for Pokemon and item exchanges.

Alolan Exeggutor will appear in higher frequency for a limited time, so take some time to explore and watch out for that tree.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
