Activision and Bungie has incredibly high hopes for Destiny 2. Momentum had been building for the loot shooter sequel after the original game had a strong debut on consoles back in the fall of 2014. Destiny 2 would be arriving on consoles and PC and arrived with a wave of hype, though the response from players was rather underwhelming. Players complained about the lack of content, the absence of improvements from the first game, and concerns about grinding. Bungie has been listening to players and working to deliver the best version of Destiny 2 to players and fans. The new Warmind expansion promises to breathe life into the game via the inclusions of a new hero, enemies, game mode, and region. In celebration of its impending release, Bungie has released a new trailer for Warmind.
The Destiny 2 Warmind expansion is set to arrive on May 8 and players can pre-load the new content ahead of release. Check out our guide to Warmind’s release and update maintenance here. Fans and prospective buyers should also be happy to know that Bungie plans on supporting Destiny 2 and recently expanded their development roadmap to include seasons 3 and 4.
