New Red Dead Redemption 2 Trailer Coming This Week

Rockstar has shared when gamers will get the next look at their own interactive Westworld.

If you've been waiting to get some new footage from Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption 2, your wish shall soon be granted. The devs revealed that the third trailer for the open-world western will debut on May 2, 2018.

Red Dead Redemption 2's release date was revealed a couple months ago, but, other than a few rumors, not a lot is known about what the sequel will be bringing to the table as far as gameplay goes. Hopefully, at 8 AM PT on May 2 via the official Rockstar YouTube channel, we will all be enlightened. 

One of the most intriguing rumors around involves the extremely popular battle royale game mode. A publication revealed a collection of tidbits from unknown sources, one of which suggesting Rockstar is working on a battle royale mode for Red Dead Redemption 2. The report also included two more traditional modes that will serve as the team deathmatch and objective-based modes for the game's online counterpart. Grand Theft Auto V's online world has kept the game alive and profitable for a long time since the original release, so we should at least expect a similar investment in Red Dead online.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is due to release on October 26, 2018. Stay tuned to Shacknews for the new trailer this week and for more updates as we get closer to launch.
