After a successful run last year in Long Beach, California, the TwitchCon convention is heading to San Jose for a weekend of everything Twitch. The annual event allows streamers, fans, game publishers and more to meet under one roof to celebrate all thing related to Twitch and the game streaming culture. It is a great way for fans to meet their favorite Twitch personalities, get exclusive looks at the newest games, and attend exclusive panels.

The McEnery Convention Center in San Jose has been tapped to host the event, which runs from October 26-28. TwitchCon Director Krystal Herring explained why San Jose was chosen as the landing spot for this year’s convention.

“TwitchCon has continued to grow year over year with our diverse and inclusive community playing a major role in defining the content through their feedback and participation in on-site activities. As with our previous three conventions, we are keeping things fresh with a new location. And since San Jose has a proven track record of successfully holding major events with plenty of great places to eat and stay, It’s exciting to give our attendees a new city to explore for all of the expected community meetups”

Those interested in crashing San Jose for TwtichCon can book a reduced-rate hotel room near the convention center by visiting TwtichCon.com and taking advantage of the online booking system. Additional TwitchCon 2018 details will be revealed in the coming months, including ticket sales, call-for- content, spotlight Partners, exhibitors, new experiences, the programming schedule, and more. To keep updated with the developments, be sure to sign up for the TwtichCon newsletter on the official website.
