In Kingdom Come: Deliverance, if you happen to acquire some clothing, armor, or weapons by nefarious means like lockpicking (check our guide to lockpicking for tips) or pickpocketing, a little red hand will appear next to the object in your inventory to signify it was stolen. It's not there just for show, though, as you'll want to be careful about using or selling the item. NPCs are very observant in the game, so watch yourself. If you're hoping to earn some coin for your stolen goods, there are some options available to you.

Sell Stolen Goods In A Different Village

If you take a look at the stolen items (designated by a red hand in your inventory) you'll be able to see where you were when you acquired the item. The reason for this? Your best bet on selling stolen gear is by going as far away from the hometown as possible. If you're going to establish a career as a thief, gather your goods and head to the next town to keep up your reputation the best you can.

Selling Stolen Goods To A Fencer

If you complete the side quest A Good Thief for miller Peshek in the village of Rattay, he'll suggest you go speak with another Miller a little bit out of town. His name is Woyzeck and, once you meet up with him and give him the ring you stole from the Executioner (guide coming soon), he and Peshek will both offer to "store" some goods for you in exchange for coin.
